L'Osteria Aachen in Aachen

I ordered pizza and salad to pick up on Saturday. Had to wait, which is basically no problem for me: they had a lot to do and pizza has to be hot and therefore freshly made. But not enough protection in Corona times: I was instructed to wait at a table inside, various others were also waiting. I saw at least 2 employees who wore mouth and nose protection under their noses. And if I had known that I would have to wait a total of 30 minutes with other guests in a large, but closed room, I would have preferred to wait outside. I went to pick up food there several times during the Corona period, but I won't do that until my vaccination (after the summer?). By the way: the pizza is one of the tastiest in town, except for the cheese, which unfortunately cannot keep up with the pizzas I often eat in Italy (tip: order without cheese and then order mozzarella as well)

Today I had an incredible encounter with a Mr. Simons at Losteria in Aachen. I placed a phone order with a young woman today. Noodle with pizza rolls. I asked if they have herb butter too. That was denied. Then I asked if you had the good butter then she said no problem. I add to it. When I wanted to pick up the order I was served by a certain Mr. Simons. The bill was € 13.45. I paid € 23.50 and received a € 10 note. He closed the wallet. And turned his back on me without saying anything. Then I approached him and said that I still get 0.05 €. Then he went to the counter and came back and gave me the € 0.05 and said here you go and the herb butter was not charged. Next time I should pay an amount x. I've waited so long for my food. When the Lord came back I asked him to tell me his name. Because I don't think that's right when I've made him aware of my change to listen to something like that. Then I said that I found it a cheek that he had to listen to the saying. I don't need any handouts from you if you tell me that the butter costs 1.2 or 3 € then I would pay that too. I didn't snort that butter on the phone. Then he said that he had told me that he would get the change from somewhere else. Then I told him now you're lying to me again. If you had said that when you closed the wallet, firstly I would not have asked for my change and secondly you would not have given me this saying with the butter. I said I was going to complain. Then a name of a lottery team was mentioned. With which I have nothing to do. He probably mistook me for someone. And I find that very dubious and outrageous. The food was really delicious, so it's a shame that I have to rate this review with one star, but this shouldn't happen a second time.

It has a great ambience and the food tastes exquisite! The restaurant is huge which enables you get a place whenever you go.

We had 3 pizzas deliverd and they tasted like stale cardboard, the "cheeses" used as a base had a taste more similar to a cented rubber than any natural product. What was supposed to be a gorgonzola, we can only assume it was blue due to being expired. Additionally to this the pizza's were delivered cold and had to be reheated. One of which came like a lego set that had to be completed on arrival, with the toppings arriving in a separate container. If you are looking for a good pizza in Aachen I would recommend you turn around, head into the centre and hit up Gold of Naples as they are significantly better.

The quality of the food is abnormal. Lately from the menu of the day (called differently) "dumplings in butter", they were really dumplings that floated in water with a little butter, a shame, you don't go out to eat. Very very disappointed.

Large and tasty Pizzas, but not that cheap. Great homemade lemonade. We appreciated that they placed half a pizza on each of our plates after stating that we want to share it. Very modern but cozy interior. Meals arrived quickly - however we visited during the early afternoon during the week, so there were only few other guests. The place is huge including a patio in the summer. The waiters however made a somewhat unprofessional impression. There was frequent shouting between them across the restaurant and some seemed a little bit confused where to take the orders. This could be improved to make the atmosphere more comfortable.

Very good food, nice service. Priced a bit above the food level. Overall worth a visit. One should pay attention to the time. It can get very noisy during the main visiting hours - it's best to choose a less visited time.

The concept works. Everything quick and easy. The pizza is delicious, and so is the espresso at the end. It doesn't have to be more.

Italian cuisine right on the doorstep .. The perfectly authentic Italian pasta, with the best simple ingredients, just like in an Italian village with mom :). The L‘Osteria concept works perfectly, and many local “Italians” can learn a huge amount from it.

Been there for the first time and not disappointed. The concept works for us. Pizza was very neat, as was pasta. Thanks to Corona it was well attended but not overly crowded. Only the staff seemed a bit lame. But the bottom line was that it was a visit that can be repeated.

Great service, great pizza!

The food has always been very good, regardless of whether you eat there or order it to take away. But if you sit there and still want to order something, the waitress (female) ignores you as if you were not there and so you are prevented from placing further orders and so you have to be satisfied with the first drink and the first choice of food .

Ordered a pizza took half because it was a 2 person pizza Very tasty pizza not too fat, my stomach against it, but that is being worked on

Have food delivered to us and give the following feedback: The portion of al Tartufo e Menta consisted of 7 ravioli. Thought it was a main course but the portion is like a starter. In addition, we didn't like the dish, even our Labrador left it. The risotto box was well filled, but they could have delivered a small tin of parmesan. Maybe you could have paid extra for it but didn't look it up. The driver was ok.

I went to dinner here with my parents and my partner on a Saturday evening. As in all branches, the ambience is very appealing and cozy in the industrial style the staff was courteous, quick and friendly. the dishes, 4 pizzas, arrived within 10 minutes and, as expected, were well filled and delicious. The price was absolutely reasonable. All in all it was a great, cozy evening and we look forward to our next visit! keep it up! (Ps: I recommend to reserve, however, can get full)

Generous architecture and pizzas :) (Child) friendly staff and a cozy, open atmosphere. The menu is limited to Italian dishes (pizza, pasta, etc.), pizzas taste very good and can be taken home if you don't pick up the giant things. On Saturdays around 12:00 you can go there with children, as not much is going on. We would love to come back.

Place and service were fine. Food is good and in line with the expectations. The bolognaise for our little daughter was a bit too acid. The cappuccino was cold because we had to wait long for it. We have very good experience in other places (Hürth) as well and it was probably just a one timer.

Okay food. Service drops a lot. Simply put a slice of bread on top of the salad with the salad. A basket or plate for the bread would have made sense. We improvised with napkins. Olives with stone. What to do with the stone without an extra plate? Addendum: Two portions of dessert were served carelessly on a plate. Even if it tasted good, the eyes eat with it.

The pizzas are delicious and very large, the lasagna is also very good. Only I think the drink is a bit too pricey. Furthermore, a nice restaurant, friendly staff and easily accessible.

Nice place , Friendly workers, Affordable and they take care of children so well.but I give four star because it too much longer before you get your orders , this day there were no to much quest and i didn't know why things take longer,. They have to work on the fast service..

Had ordered salad. Had ordered bread extra. Didn't read that bread was there. One could have pointed it out. Otherwise the service was very friendly. The restaurant is very nice, from the outside also the large terrace.

L'Osteria is an Italian restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. It was our first time on the advice of others. Certainly we will be back. The pizzas are super big, but delicious. Because we also wanted an appetizer, we opted for “ein für zwei teller”. Great that this is possible otherwise I will never finish the pizza .... but taking what's left is always an option. I'm already looking forward to next time ...

The reception and service are very friendly and attentive. We went twice in the same week. First time we had only eaten pasta of which we did not really think the whole wheat penne was "Al Dente". We went back later for the chance to try Pizza and another pasta this time, this was exceptionally well prepared and very tasty. The portions were more than enough and even though it was quite busy we quickly had the meals on the table. Tip: for the people who know Happy Italy forget this quickly and visit L'Osteria after that you will never go back !!

Big portions for pizza's and very good taste overall. Reservation needed for weekends and for dinner. Lunch time during the week is offered with a special menu and no need to reserve.

Good food, good ambience

I found hair on my pizza!!!And...I think it was the manager who came to me, I showed him what was on my plate ... and his first reaction was "I won't die" ... if I eat hair. That manager does not know, has no idea what it means, how to treat such an aspect. And NO, pizza is not even close to the authentic Italian taste!!! ... And , by the way... mention this on the menu as + hair. Let the client know what to expect!
